Financial literacy for you (FLY) is a two year (2012-2014) project, funded by the European Commission under the Erasmus Plus programme.
The reason for evaluating the project is the low level of financial literacy among the European citizen. The rising vulnerability among individuals and households has grown as a major issue. One of the steps towards overcoming this issue is the decision of the European Commission to develop a series of national strategies, aiming to develop the level of financial management among individuals and households.
The aim of FLY is to increase the level of financial literacy and to raise the awareness of the consequences of the lack of poor personal financial management. The main innovativeness is implemented in the wide, equal, objective and sustainable approach towards the main issues, pointed by the Commission towards the role of the public and private stakeholders in financial education.
The objects, outputs and the activities of the project are:

Tk Formazione is an adult education and VET provider established in Florence in 1992 projecting and realizing training courses fitted to the needs of the territorial economic system and the labour market.
At European level TkF cooperates, as coordinator as well as partner, with a huge network of partners taking part in various projects co-financed by the European Commission and providing courses at international level. The international area of Tk Formazione is named Tk World.
4. JOHANNES KEPLER UNIVERSITAT LINZ UNIVERSITY OF LINZ JOHANNES KEPLER UNIVERSITY OF LINZ JKU
JKU is an Upper Austrian university in with a blend of technical and socio-economical curricula and strong connections to regional and international industry partners. JKU has about 20.000 students with a strong focus on economics, law and computer science. It is strongly intertwined with the regional technology and services cluster initiatives and has strong link to the biggest regional bank as well as to steel and chemical industry.
5. Bulgarian Development Agency
BDA is a non-profit organization, established in Sofia, Bulgaria. The organization undertakes activities for public benefit focusing on issues related to regional development, innovation, achievement and implementation of EU targets, as well as improving the social conditions in the country.
6. UNIVERSITATEA POLITEHNICA DIN BUCURESTI
POLITEHNICA University of Bucharest (PUB), founded in 1886, is now the largest technical university of Romania, with about 23000 students, 3300 full time staff, 1800 part-time faculty and 900 postgraduate students.
POLITEHNICA University of Bucharest comprises study Programmes for all the technical fields, with the exceptions of civil engineering and agronomy. The study Programmes offered ranges from computer science and robotics to entrepreneurship, business engineering and management. All the study Programmes were granted with the highest mark (A) by the accreditation body and occupy the first or the second position in the national top of university Programmes at their categories.
